Biographical Information:

Martial Arts:        Overview: twenty-four active years in the martial arts; twenty-one years an instructor.
                           1974 Began instruction (at the age of 12) at the Atlanta Black Belt Academy in Decatur, GA, with instructors Jack Johns and Fred Holland.
                           1976-1978: Head instructor at Shito Ryu Karate Do in Decatur, GA.
                           1979-1980: Head karate instructor for the Decatur Recreational center.
                           1982-1985: Founded the National Karate School in Charleston, SC.
                           1986-1989: Relocated to Florida to study under present instructor, 8th Dan Shihan Bill Knoblock.
                           1990: Returned to Charleston, SC, to persue home-building career.
                           1992-1994: Opened Knoblock's Gekisai Dojo in Charleston, SC.
                           1994:  Relocated to Atlanta, GA, establishing home-building business.
                           1994-1998: Continued personal training and instructing black belts throughout the southeastern United States.
                           1998: Appointed chief Training officer for an International Martial Arts Organization, NKJU International.

Martial Arts Achievements:
                           Overview; Numerous awards and consistent achievement of higher ranking.
                           1975:  Awarded NKJU Student of the year.
                           1975-1985: Received approximately one hundred first, second or third place trophies in over 100 tournaments.
                           1977, 1984, 1986, and 1987: Awarded Outstanding Student for the NKJU
                                    (holds the record for receipt of this award by any student of this organization)
                           1977: Ranked first degree black belt in Shito Ryu.
                           1980: Ranked second degree black belt in Shito Ryu.
                           1986: Ranked third degree in Okinawan Goju Ryu.
                           1993: Ranked fourth Degree, Okinawan Goju Ryu.
                           1997: Ranked fifth degree, Okinawan goju Ryu.
                           1997: Awarded title of Renshi Sensei (Master Instructor)
                           1998:  Appointed position of Chief Training officer for NKJU International.
